My writer researcher has changed a lot during this semester. I feel like I have become a better writer in general and I also feel like I have become a better researcher. What I think genera research mean to me like a subject that can be defined but has smaller subjects in it. I believe that research itself and genre research defines are the same but when finding genre research, it is seen as a group into much smaller groups as regular research is seen as more as trying to get a direct answer to something.

I would describe translating like explaining. When I first think of translating, I think of translating a language. Like how sometimes we need translators for when people speak Spanish and someone else speaks English there will be a third person in the room who speaks both of the languages. I don't feel much different about translating I feel like it is something people use everyday .

I believe that I have changed a lot as a writer researcher throughout the semester, I feel like I have grown in knowledge about what to do. I check not just the first website i see but multiple now and double check if multiple have the same information. I also look org, net and com now and look at those too see if a website is truly reliable. Genre research to me is looking at a specific topic and finding how that topic works and what benefits does it have or how that topic could influence a person. I believe that the genre research connects to me as what I do with my life and how I live it. For example, my experience with soccer and my knowledge of the game or maybe how I grew up. All of the things that can define me are a part of my genre.

I think  translingualism is multiple languages or multiple things that can be translated in different situations. What I easily understood was the multiple languages and how English is different thought the word and how wherever you are it changes. Even in the United States it is different throughout the states. I struggle with connecting translingualsim with other things like everyday life. I think I can relate it to sports but not anything else. I would like to learn if I can apply it too other things in my life other the language and sports. I think I can apply it to my life by using one thing I learn and applying it to my everyday life. For example, when I was in sports, I learn how far my determination and how much practice makes me better at anything I do. But practice doesn't always mean I am kicking a ball or doing homework. It can be something so small you don't even know. Listing could be considered practice. I am practice because when you listen to music it can he...

I did not know anything about multimodality before this class. I heard it one time and I thought it was like multiple modes of one thing. Something I am learning about is the modes of multimodality and how they apply to my everyday life. I still would like to learn know how to notice it right away in everyday life like on Spotify for example I have been able to recognize it a lot more in certain songs. I would like to know more about the Alphabetical mode and how to find it in everyday life.  What is easy to understand about multimodality is listing mode. To me that is just the easiest to understand because it doesn't need the visual mode, you can just listen to it and just enjoy the music or whatever anyone is saying. I believe the most difficult is the language mode because that could change depending on where you are from and where you are.

My antecedent knowledge about peer editing was just someone going over my paper or work to make sure it was good enough to turn in. A lot of the time I asked them to make changes they thought would make my paper better or more exiting. I the way I think about it now is a little different. I think it is good to get some people to edit your paper but not enough to change the paper entirely I think it is a good idea that only 1 or two people look it over. I say that because I would ask 1 person should check for spelling and grammar and another for actual advice on the story that I am writing. I think it is always helpful to have a helping hand and to help me out especially with something I missed. An example I can think of is a project that has a lot of steps and questions and let's say I miss one they can help me out and help get it done.  I am planning for peer review by helping my roommate out with homework from English and trying to help him edit stuff in his papers to seem ...

Before this class I thought genre was a topic like action, non-fiction, fiction and etc. My definition of genre is changing because of this class. I now know genre is not so broad as fiction and non-fiction. I see now that almost everything with the right components and if it follows P-CHAT it will and can be a genre. Something as simple as a scorecard can be considered a genre. Things I interact with every day that could be considered a genre is a app on my phone. The app will collect my data and then be able to spot different things I like. An example of this is Instagram. Instagram is a website where people can go like peoples posts and post themselves. But these people also have certain things they like, and it will eventually show on your explorer page. Different accounts and different adds will come up on you feed determining on the data the app have collected from you overtime. This is personal to me because I chat my Instagram from football and soccer updates all the time....
