My antecedent knowledge about peer editing was just someone going over my paper or work to make sure it was good enough to turn in. A lot of the time I asked them to make changes they thought would make my paper better or more exiting. I the way I think about it now is a little different. I think it is good to get some people to edit your paper but not enough to change the paper entirely I think it is a good idea that only 1 or two people look it over. I say that because I would ask 1 person should check for spelling and grammar and another for actual advice on the story that I am writing. I think it is always helpful to have a helping hand and to help me out especially with something I missed. An example I can think of is a project that has a lot of steps and questions and let's say I miss one they can help me out and help get it done.  I am planning for peer review by helping my roommate out with homework from English and trying to help him edit stuff in his papers to seem ...

Before this class I thought genre was a topic like action, non-fiction, fiction and etc. My definition of genre is changing because of this class. What do I understand about CHAT and what am I still trying to understand? What I understand about CHAT is that CHAT is a triangle and to make sure that CHAT is working you need to make sure you follow all the chat components. What I need to make sure I am using CHAT correctly is a Subject, Rules, Community, Division of labor, and Objective. So far this is my knowledge of CHAT and other the basic knowledge of that I feel confident in. I do not have a full grasp of CHAT yet but very soon I believe I will.  What terms of CHAT are easier for you to understand, and which are more difficult?  The easiest concept of CHAT for me to understand is that there will be different genera. What I mean by this is that I understand the cultural and historical part of chat and "about how the objects, ideas, and genres we use reflect certain cultural values at a certain point in history"(Sheets 134). What I do not understand about CHAT is the activity and theory part of it all. I guess I am jus...
